Properties/applications-
PVC is a synthetic thermoplastic polymer and PVC resin can be combined with many
additives and modifiers, they can meet the requirements for products in many
industries.
making plastic pipes, cables and wires, hoses, sheets, waterproof membranes, etc.
PVC resin is a white powder with a particle size of 60 to 250 microns created in
a reactor process. The bulk density of PVC is 400 - 600 kg /m3.
At normal temperature 100g PVC resins absorb 20-30g plasticizers.
Vinyl is often chosen over other materials because of its low cost, versatility and
performance properties. Vinyl is strong, durable, abrasion and moisture resistant;
withstands rust and corrosion; is electrically non-conductive and has excellent fire
performance properties. |
